Please read carefully ... Ending Gun Violence

We have an election coming up. Please consider what the Liberals are putting forward as you cast your vote!

PLEASE VOTE !

Here is a snippet ...

A re-elected Liberal government will:

Toughen our laws on banned assault weapons by making it mandatory for owners to either sell the firearm back to the government for destruction and fair compensation or have it rendered fully and permanently inoperable at government expense.

Crack down on high-capacity magazines and require that long gun magazines capable of holding more than 5 rounds be permanently altered so that they can never hold more than 5 rounds

Ban the sale or transfer of magazines that could hold more than a legal number of bullets, regardless of how they were intended to be used by the manufacturer.

I pray that Canadians wake up, this election has far more at stake than the gun control issue.
Quoted for truth.
"My Shadow 2 is crazy accurate, until it hears a shot timer "beep". Then it sucks and sends rounds everywhere."

The Conservatives under Erin OToole have stated in their platform that they will uphold the May 2020 ban on 1500 semi auto legally restricted sporting rifles. They recently added a footnote to their lengthy platform document to reflect this.
It’s not looking good for the semi-auto sport rifle shooters. If you are truly serious about those sports, unfortunately you will need to emigrate to another country and start over.

The Liberals plan to budget 1B to allocate to municipalities to motivate them to ban pistols in the Cities (some are calling this bribery). The Provinces will resist to argue jurisdiction but most likely only so far as to secure their cut of the pie IMO. If you don’t think policies can be purchased, you might be suffering from some form of naivety. Trudeau is openly proposing to do this overtly. Trudeau’s ability to shift the Overton window is disturbingly impressive… he has coached the electorate into accepting his ethics violations (which I would argue is the normalization of corruption), and now he’s asking the electorate to approve his proposal to attempt to purchase municipal legislation with Federal funds.

The PPC libertarian platform calls for reversing the rifle ban and respecting law abiding sport shooter’s rights to use firearms as sporting goods. But, they are fledgling and unlikely to even secure a single seat so casting your vote for them will likely split the Conservative vote thus aiding a Liberal victory and striking the second last nail in the coffin of semi-auto rifle sports in Canada.

Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. This is the current situation. If you are a pistol sports shooter you are going to have to throw your rifle brothers & sisters under the bus… You can throw them under the front wheels if you vote liberal/NDP or you can throw them under the rear wheels if you vote conservative. If you take the high ground and vote PPC you throw them under the front wheels but can claim that you did no such thing. If you don’t vote at all you look like a quitter.

“Politics Ruins Everything”… quote from Viva Frei, PPC candidate.
