I am going for a range tour in the morning and will ask that question and a few others. I will post in a couple days.

Had a great tour of the range thanks Jason. There is plenty of room for parking. There is no camping allowed at the range but within 10 kms there is 3 campgrounds some with full hookups the names and numbers will be posted with the match announcement along with hotels in rocky. It is a ten minute drive from town past a timmies just for your information. More info will come as we get closer to the matches.

Thanks for the trip report. :cheer:

Not to push the issue but as the first match at Rocky is on the may long weekend it is going to require that bookings are made ASAP.

I assume the campgrounds are (based on web search):

Wilderness Village (Membership campground)
Waiting to hear back, but per the website it appears that they will not allow public camping on long weekends.

Riverview Campground
$36/$38 + actual power usage (Full hookup)
Waiting to hear back about reservations

Crimson Lake
I looked at Crimson Lake and the group camping area looks like 29' max (No Hookups) so for us that is out. (32' rig)
The standard sites at Crimson have site power, and central water / sani-dump. Reservations open Feb 22.

Would be great to stay at the same place with others so let me know your thoughts.

Another option may be Ferrier Hall, I will look into it. It is 5 minutes from the range and there is lots of room for big units. Maybe a group of people who want to camp can book it, will look into it tomorrow and find out pricing.

List of campgrounds: www.rockymtnhouse.com/index.aspx?nid=237

Ferrier Hall info (Looks like $350 for a long weekend) room for several trailers/motor homes.

Thanks for the extra info.

New Old Town & Riverview Campground seem good for full hookup's.

Anyone else interested in these two?

I heard back from Wilderness Village and they confirmed that they do not book sites to non members on long weekends.
