94 days later ....................... (13.4 weeks) ............
The barrels arrived in the snail mail today.

Overall impression:
Not bad.

You can see from this first photo that the ramps as well as the breach face are TiN coated. The ramps are supposed to be "polished" once coated, but you can see that there are varying degrees of polish. The bushing barrel on the left is well polished, but the 2 bulls barrels, not so much. The chambers are not TiN coated.

The barrels crowns are also TiN coated. Again, varying degrees of "polish"

On the plus side, the barrels managed to fit right back into the slides.
The link pin popped back in (I thought perhaps the coating would narrow the hole a bit and make life difficult).
Once lubricated and installed the actions cycled smoothly and functioned just fine.
The barrel lugs lock up nicely and are snug (as they were before the process).

So, if you can handle 94 days/13.4 weeks/3.13 months of constantly being lied to and generally screwed around, then this may well be a worthwhile project. As for me, I'll caution and warn everybody who asks about this company and the conduct of the principle contact about how you're likely going to be treated.

Well, not only was the customer service abysmal (read the thread) but the actual final, finished product turns out to be terrible too.

Here is a photo of my Bar-Sto, Match grade bull barrel with the TiN coating applied by CDN Gunworx.
Prior to the project the barrel had 15,000 rounds through it.
Once I finally got the TiN coated barrel installed I put 350 rounds through it, a test fire and then Q7.
The outside of the barrel appears to be wearing fine as it rubs against the slide.
The ramp, on the other hand, is not fairing so well.
Check out the photo of the ramp .......

The TiN coating is supposed to be stronger and more wearing than soft copper jackets and brass casings that are being forced onto it ............ clearly the TiN coating is not holding up so well and appears to be wearing off the ramp after only 350 rounds.

So, crap customer service and, as it turns out, a crap finished product.

I would not entrust a $200-300 barrel with these amateurs

Well, some good news - CDN Gunworx returned my money to me today.
They offered to have me return the barrels for re-coating, which was not an option as far as I was concerned. Instead I asked for my money back and they complied.

So, there's that.
There may be some integrity here.

But, caveat emptor.

I also has a bad experience with these guys, here's the short story:

Sent slide and barrel to be DLC coated.
Took way longer than quoted and poor comms. (this didn't really bother me that much, I'm pretty easy going)
Received Barrel and slide and it looked like someone threw the slide down a set of concrete stairs after it was coated, about 6 big dings, called them and was pretty much told: tough luck...

Just a heads up.

Sad to see that they haven't picked their game up in the past year and a half.

That's a huge overhaul of their Facebook page from 2 years ago. Entirely new.

I did, in fact. post a review on the original Facebook Page after the TiN fiasco but they deleted it. I posted it again and they deleted it a second time. I see, from casual observation, that there doesn't appear to be a "reviews" section on this new Facebook Page.

I did leave a Google review, so when you do a web search for them it'll pop up. They can't erase that one. And the thread in CGN still exists, although it is old.

Like anything. YMMV. Caveat Emptor.
