The re-training split is at 3 years.

Less than 3 years the member needs to re-certify:

    • Be reveiwed be a BB Instructor,
    • At a minimum of shoot the BB Instructors mini-match,
    • Letter of recommendation from BBI to PTO that member is good to shoot an IPSC match (i.e. run with a loaded gun in presence of other people).

More than 3 years (1,095 days) re-take the entire Black Badge course.

    Hi Ken

Has it been discussed and confirmed with PTO?

    Thanks

Konnie, this is the generic response that is sent to anyone that asks:

IPSC members need to compete at a sanctioned IPSC match at least once per 12 months to maintain their Black Badge certification.  Members that have not competed at a sanctioned match within the last 12 months need to be re-certified to become recognized.  Members that have not shot at a match within the last 3 years need to re-complete their Black Badge training.
